'Thanks to the Modular project, Basten Leijh gained knowledge on the latest developments in the field of LED and other lighting technologies. For the Médard series Basten's Design Studio was able to incorporate all technique such as cooling, light source and transformer in one small cylindrical casing. This created a spotlight that can be attached without complicated construction preparations when both standing as when attached to the wall or in the ceiling.'
