Sneak Peek: Milan, Salone del Mobile, Milano 2025 Sneak Peek: Milan, Salone del Mobile, Milano 2025 – @Masterly_milano Exposition, by @nicole_uniquole_miss_masterly Excited to share a glimpse of what’s coming to Masterly during Salone del Mobile 2025! Under the theme Sustain + Ability, I’m exploring the boundaries of timeless, sustainable furniture design. This is 1 of the 5 concepts i’m working on so stay tuned to get more information about the other ones. ✨ Concept 1: ‘Sell Than Make’ Why produce what isn’t wanted? • Made to order: No overproduction, no waste. • No stock, glue, or screws: Designed for smart assembly and disassembly. • Circular materials: Everything reused and ready for a circular future. • Efficiency first: No mold costs, smart logistics, and 3D printing technology at the core. PAKHUIS DE ZWIJGER, te Amsterdam: 🗓 Dinsdag 17 december, 19.30 📍 IJzaal PDZ, op locatie 💸 Gratis toegang (reserveren verplicht) Tijdens deze avond onderzoeken we wat design echt “goed” maakt, aan de hand van de tentoonstelling Design voor de planeet in Design Museum Den Bosch. We reflecteren samen met ontwerpers en filosofen op de impact van design op onze maatschappij en planeet. Hoe kan design bijdragen aan oplossingen voor wereldwijde uitdagingen, en wat betekent het om te ontwerpen in een wereld die verandering nodig heeft? Sprekers Yassine Salihine @salihineyassine Hoofdcurator van Design Museum Den Bosch en oprichter van zijn eigen designbureau. Yassine deelt zijn visie op de rol van design als kracht voor maatschappelijke verandering en de verhalen achter ontwerpen. Richard van der Laken @whatdesigncando Creatief directeur van de Designpolitie, oprichter van Gorilla en What Design Can Do. Richard biedt een unieke kijk op hoe design kan bijdragen aan een duurzame, eerlijke en rechtvaardige samenleving. Basten Leijh Afgestudeerd aan de Design Academy Eindhoven en oprichter van Studio Bleijh. Met een focus op mobiliteit, meubelontwerp en verlichting laat hij zien hoe duurzaamheid centraal kan staan in design. Mandi Astola Filosoof en universitair docent ethiek en techniek aan de @tudelft . Mandi onderzoekt de morele verantwoordelijkheid en maatschappelijke impact van design en biedt een filosofische benadering van het thema.
